Permanent Lighting

Permanent Roofline Lighting

Installed once. On all year.

Permanent roofline lighting is a fixed LED system built into the architecture of your home. It replaces the ladder, the tangled strands, and the one-weekend-a-year scramble with something that is simply always there — warm white most nights, any color you want for the ones that matter.

What it actually is

A slim aluminum channel is mounted flush to the underside of your soffit, tucked up beneath the roof overhang. Small LED pucks sit inside that channel roughly every nine inches, pointing straight down to wash light across the fascia and siding below. The track is color-matched to your trim, so during the day there is almost nothing to see.

  • Color-matched channel hidden beneath the eave, invisible from the street by day
  • Individually addressable RGBW pucks — millions of colors, not a fixed strip
  • Controlled entirely from your phone: scenes, schedules, brightness, zones

Under the eave, never on the ridge

This is the detail that separates a professional permanent install from something that reads as leftover Christmas lights. Every fixture sits on the underside of the overhang, below the shingle line, washing light down the wall. Nothing gets mounted on top of the roof surface and nothing traces the ridge against the sky. Done right, the result is an architectural line — not an outline.

One system, every season

Most nights our customers run a warm white between 2700K and 3000K, which reads as architectural lighting rather than decoration. Then the system does the rest of the year's work without anyone touching a ladder: red and green in December, orange for Halloween, navy and orange on game days, school colors for a graduation party.

  • Warm white nightly for everyday curb appeal
  • Holiday and event colors on a schedule you set once
  • No seasonal install, no takedown, no storage bins

Built for Chicago winters

Illinois is hard on exterior fixtures. Freeze-thaw cycles, ice dams, lake-effect wind, and summer humidity all work against anything mounted outdoors. The fixtures we install are weather-sealed and rated for continuous outdoor use, and the channel is fastened into the soffit rather than clipped to gutters that move with the seasons.
